Project Manager (Permanent Position)
For one of our Clients we are recruiting a Project Manager (permanent position)
As part of a global reorganisation of its IT function, the Client has embarked on an outsourcing programme, initiated in mid-2015. To support this transition, and to manage the providers and associated technology transformation going forwards, the Client is searching for a Project Manager.
This role reports through the Global IT Solution Delivery function and is responsible for the end-to-end management of business-driven projects; typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of IT systems to meet identified business needs; acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality. Key themes include Quality Improvement, System Rationalisation, Data Management, and Business Process Improvement.
Project and Programme Management Knowledge
Excellent project & programme planning, control and reporting skills.
Experienced working with both ‘waterfall’ and agile-based Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) models.
Good knowledge of formal Project and Programme Management and Delivery methodologies e.g. PRINCE2, MSP and/or SCRUM (ideally all three).
Strong practical experience using Microsoft Project.
Comprehensive understanding of risk management with experience working with compliance and regulatory processes.
Domain Experience
Experienced in the area of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) or similar domains.
Has a good general understanding of Data Management concepts; including themes such as Master Data Management, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence.
Experience working with CRM and Logistics systems would be an advantage.
